Selected Reasons for this Blog’s Existence

- I like things. I tend to have a love/hate relationship with everything I like. As part of my continuing “try not to be so cynical” mission, I decided to start a blog where the mission was to simply and humbly obsess over things without apology.
- I don’t always get around to writing the things I want to write. Like most people. I want a blog to just throw things out there without limits.
- I like to keep things simple. I’ve been part of many conversations on zines and group blogs lately, but I given all that I’m involved in, I didn’t want to be responsible for organizing such a huge effort just yet.
- I like owning my data. I nearly opened a Tumblr account at the beginning of the year, but the Tumbolcalypse re-convinced me that given how cheap and easy it is to set up a blog on a shared server, it’s the better move.
With such humble motives IT CAN’T FAIL.
