Jon Ronson’s Escape and Control

Only two short episodes in, and the “Escape and Control” series is shaping up to be something wonderful. Featuring Jon Ronson (author of “The Men Who Stare At Goats” and “The Psychopath Test”), the series is about how some attempt to use the internet to influence or control other peoples’ opinions or behavior. This first episode begins with one man’s story, posted to YouTube, about anti-LGBT discrimination in the pro-Palestine movement, and follows Ronson’s investigation as he comes to find neither the story nor man are real.
